Plug Ins is celebrating the spring edition of GITEX Shopper with incredible price drops on some of the most high demand consumer electronics products currently in the market.The Al-Futtaim company is expecting to see sales increase by 10% and expects smartphones to dominate during the four-day event.

There are also special kiosks where customers at the exhibition can buy online and pick up via the fast track lanes.
According to Omar Abushaban, General Manager of Plug Ins the recently launched Xiaomi smartphone range – which is exclusive to Plug Ins, will be the surprise package at this year’s Shopper. There will also be strong interest in the Galaxy S7 and Smart TVs are also expected to do well. He said: “Both the spring and autumn GITEX Shopper events contribute quite strongly to our customer base as well as purchase numbers at Plug Ins. We had a very good Spring Shopper in 2015 where we saw year-on-year growth of almost 15% vs. 2014. This GITEX we anticipate a 10% jump in sales.
