Middle East Oracle Day Roadshow To Demonstrate Benefits of “Digital Disruption”

Companies urged to innovate as Oracle showcases more than 200 cloud products, flash storage, mobile technology and big data solutions

Oracle has announced that it will be hosting a series of Oracle Days across the Middle East and North Africa throughout the month of November as part of the global campaign 2014 Oracle Day Event Series.

With the theme “Make Digital Disruption an Opportunity for Innovation”, the events will offer delegates the opportunity to explore how these technologies can change their business and learn from Oracle experts how to take control of their enterprise IT future.

Cloud, big data, and mobile are transforming the modern business environment as well as presenting new challenges and tremendous opportunities. The 2014 Oracle Day Event Series poses the question to business “Are you ready to take advantage?”

The 2014 Oracle Day Event Series will also showcase the latest innovations, technologies and announcements unveiled at the Oracle OpenWorld 2014 conference, recently hosted in San Francisco, California.

Borrowing heavily from the success of Oracle’s customers, each event will be a powerhouse combination of business and technology focused tracks, all dedicated to one goal: showing attendees how the convergence of Cloud, Big Data and Mobile can change IT to a force that drives business innovation.

Big Data and Business Analytics will be a topic of focus, showcasing how to get the most from all the data available to an organization, generating actionable insights that lead to better decision making.

The Your Cloud, Your Way sessions will highlight  how Oracle’s cloud solutions can provide greater agility, and lower costs and risk—with flexible, tailored deployments. Re-Think Mobile will show how Oracle’s complete, flexible mobile solutions can help organizations keep up with the demands of the modern workforce. Digital-Ready Applications will allow visitors to learn how to extend and enhance existing applications and competitive advantage.

Flash storage will also be a key focus area for the MENA Oracle Days. The events will show how Oracle has developed innovative data management software that helps businesses to realize the full benefits of Flash in powerful new ways. With no management overhead required, the Oracle software automatically optimizes Flash to accelerate database and application performance, improve efficiency and simplify operations as well as offer a lower total cost.

The Oracle Day events taking place in the Middle East and North Africa will happen on 6th November 2014 – Egypt, Cairo, 10th November 2014 – Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Riyadh, 17th November 2014 – Qatar, Doha and 19th November 2014 – Kuwait, Kuwait City.

“We do learn every day from our customers’ stories and their success implementing our various solutions. The Oracle Day Events allow us to share those success stories and help others understand how Cloud, Big Data and Mobile can make a remarkable difference in the way they run their businesses,” said Abdul Rahman Al Thehaiban, Oracle’s Vice President of Public Services for Middle East and Africa.

“Oracle OpenWorld is the industry’s most important conference where we’ve had the chance to soak in the most innovative ideas and learnings from industry experts from around the world. Through our Oracle Day Events we want to share those insights with as many people as we can in the EMEA region,” Al Thehaiban added.
