Reema Baroudi – Director of PR, Marketing & Communications has received the highly prestigious IHG India, Middle East & Africa Marketing Excellence Award, presented during the IHG Commercial workshop that was held in Doha during May 2017.
Reema has been with InterContinental Hotels Group for the past 16 years, having started her career at InterContinental Jordan in 2001, before transferring to join InterContinental Abu Dhabi in 2006 to assist in preparing for the reopening following major refurbishments to the property.
Reema oversaw the PR, Marketing & Communications strategy and direction and developed a comprehensive plan to position InterContinental Abu Dhabi amongst the leading five star hotels in the UAE’s capital and a culinary destination for guests and local residents alike.
During her time with InterContinental Ab Dhabi, Reema has played a vital role in the launch of award winning restaurants across the property including Brazilian churrascaria Chamas, much loved favourite Belgian Café, the Abu Dhabi outpost of legendary restaurant Circo which opened in 2014, refined Lebanese dining institution Byblos Sur Mer which launched in spring 2015, and Cho Gao, the exquisite Asian restaurant that was inaugurated recently.
