Travelstart is the first online travel agency in MENA to embrace the Google Flights platform.
Travelstart today announced an integration with Google Flights becoming the first online travel agency (OTA) in the Middle East to do so.
Travelstart’s Paulina Klotzbücher explains, “In addition to offering a data-rich and intuitive flight booking experience, Google Flights is the ideal platform as it helps us reach those customers who begin their journey by searching for flights directly from Google.”
Google Flights is a powerful flight search engine that helps travelers find and book the best flights with confidence. It displays results for open-ended flight searches based on criteria such as budget, luggage allowance, time of departure and arrival and number of stops.
“As the first OTA in the Middle East to embrace Google Flights we anticipate serving new customers and giving them the best prices, ease of booking and support throughout their journey,” Klotzbücher said.
Travelstart is growing in the Gulf and delivers a localised version of the website in several countries including: United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia and Egypt. In addition to being key markets for Travelstart’s operations in the Middle East, Google Flights is currently available to users residing in those countries.
