Campaign Middle East has named OMD MENA as Media Network of the Year for 2014 in recognition of the agency’s performance and industry contribution over the past twelve months. This is the second consecutive year that the network has been awarded the accolade and the third time in four years.
The trade publication used multiple factors that establish its ranking, which included business growth, media innovation, non-media growth, awards and recognition, talent and culture as well as industry contribution and CSR. With the diversification of its offering beyond traditional services into digital, content, social, display, performance and consulting, the media network was able to achieve a double-digit growth in billings. Besides its organic growth, OMD won or retained 34 accounts in the region, adding new clients such as Azadea, Commercial Bank of Dubai, Disney, Tetley and United Biscuits.
