Global juice giant begins Gulf expansion in Abu Dhabi

Landmark Group, one of the region’s leading retail and hospitality conglomerates, has launched the first of 80 Jamba Juice locations in the Middle East at Yas Mall, Abu Dhabi.

Crowds started queuing hours before the store opened its doors, with people waiting for their first Jamba Juice experience, including keen fans who know the brand from the US eager to enjoy their favourite smoothies in the UAE.

Foodmark, the food and beverage division of Landmark Group, entered into a master franchise development agreement in January 2014 to develop Jamba Juice across the Middle East over the next ten years, with the first six restaurants due to open in the UAE over the coming eight months.

Founded in California in 1990, Jamba Juice is a leading health and wellness brand that has invented its own juicing and blending techniques to create unique flavours using fresh fruits and vegetables. All the fruits and vegetable used in Jamba Juice are picked at the peak of ripening to ensure the highest quality and consistency in taste. Jamba Juice follows the principal of being global but thinking local, and in the UAE will provide new flavours to appeal to the unique taste profile of the region; including special date flavoured smoothies and juices, as well as healthy wraps based upon favourite regional flavours.
