Marketing Innovation Forum to take place in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is witnessing huge change and diversification from a natural resources-based economy to becoming a digitally-enabled trade, and an innovation hub powered by digital technology.

It ranks third globally in terms of smartphone usage at 24.2m users, with almost three-quarters of the population using smartphones. It has over 19 million social media users, a key target for digital marketers. The expansion of e-commerce in the KSA is one of the significant goals with user penetration expected to hit 73% by 2023, up from 66% in 2019. This presents an ideal scenario for the new age marketers who are innovative, creative and tech-forward.

Speaking ahead of the forum, Rami Zahran in an interview to MarTech Vibe stated “In 2020 I do believe that MarTech will continue to grow at a fast pace, but it will also start to filter out the good from the bad, and we will continue to see a consolidation of tools.” He further went on to add “Tech companies need to develop tools in partnership with the end-users so that ultimately we can provide an excellent experience for our customers.”
