Five-week shopping extravaganza to include family activities, attractive installations and incredible promotions
The Dubai Mall, the world’s most-visited retail and entertainment destination, is celebrating the 25th Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF) with a multitude of entertainment, exciting activities and themed pop ups from 26 December 2019 – 1 February 2020.
To mark the 25th year of DSF, The Dubai Mall is giving five Emirates Skywards members the chance to become a DSF Skywards Millionaire. Members spending over AED 350 are eligible to participate. All you must do is scan your receipts on The Dubai Mall App to enter the draw between January 3 – February 6, 2020. One winner will be selected every week and announced on @thedubaimall social media Instagram platform.
After its successful debut last year, The Dubai Mall will bring back the much-loved Street Fest that promises an explosion of live entertainment, events and performances from January 9 – 18, 2020. The Dubai Mall will offer the perfect canvas for an exquisite carnival of theatrical street performances by over 20 award-winning international artists. Breath-taking large-scale visual spectacles, outstanding stunts, living statues, roaming acts and more will amaze audience-members of all ages.
On January 12, The Dubai Mall will host the most expensive natural diamond in Dubai as part of a Diamond Exhibition that takes connoisseurs on an immersive journey that explains the genesis of the constellation diamond-from its creation to its polished form. The 10-day exhibition will be hosted at the first-floor link corridor from 10am to 12pm.
Throughout DSF, celebratory in mall ceiling lights will mesmerise residents and visitors. Make sure you capture the perfect Instagram shot besides a spectacular ocean of lights at the Grand Atrium. On the Waterfront Promenade guests can also experience a spectacular 300-metre-long light arrangement creating a picture-perfect starry backdrop, the first of its kind in the UAE.
Other DSF activities include Chinese New Year celebrations from January 25 – February 1, 2020 as The Dubai Mall will be transformed into a Chinese hub showcasing traditional Chinese art and cultural activities, offers and events.
