TEC celebrates 10 years of redefining the region’s events industry

TEC, the region’s leading corporate event management agency, which averages 250 events per year, is celebrating its 10th year anniversary this month. Founded in 2008 by Dubai based British entrepreneur, Natalie Crampton, the company is at the forefront of using the latest technologies for their events, all executed with creativity and great organizational skills that have made the agency the trusted partner of clients such as HSBC, Visa, Sephora, Cisco, DHL and others.

According to Natalie Crampton, Founder and Managing Director, TEC: “When I look back at our 10 years journey, I am proud of the diverse list of clients and events we have celebrated over the years. We have executed over 3000 events in 25 countries for more than 100 brands from sectors as varied as banking, beauty, logistics and telecommunications to healthcare and automotive. The regional events industry has changed in the last decade to become more creative, professional and technologically advanced; and we are delighted to lead this journey of transformation. Interactive face-to-face events are still valuable for the benefits that comes with networking, and exchange of ideas, but technology is playing a larger role in events. Software is changing how events are organized and executed, and apps are transforming how attendees share their experience with their peers. Usage of VR, apps and drones are increasing to make events more interactive and memorable.”

Initially, starting on her own, today Natalie has grown TEC to a full-service events agency with the support of her husband Aron Bentley who works with TEC as Operations Director. The company now employs a team of 21 event planners and managers. TEC also has a 5000 sq. ft. warehouse in Dubai stocking a full range of furniture, decor and props, which are transported whenever required throughout the region.

This year TEC executed events such as Rihanna’s visit to Sephora Dubai Mall, HSBC’s Economist roadshow across all GCC countries, Visa’s MENA client forum in Rome, DHL’s internal event in Malta and several conferences for Cisco and Facebook.

“These are exciting times for us. In the last five years, we have had an average growth of 10 per cent per year. We have many long-term clients who have given us repeat business since they are assured of our professionalism and creativity. In 2018, we executed our first event in Italy and Greece and, early next year we will execute our inaugural event in Sri Lanka. Our ten-year plan is to expand our geographical footprint and invest in our team,” concludes Crampton.
