The Inaugural edition of the Middle East Mompreneur forum will take place at Zabeel Ladies Club, in the heart of the UAE, on the 8th of May 2018 with the underlying theme “Freedom of Choice”.
The mompreneur forum brings together mom-entrepreuneurs and business executives to discuss key issues and challenges that women are confronted with in the current economy. Headlining speakers include Her Excellency Sara Al Madani, and Mariam Farag, Head of Corporate Social Responsibility at MBC Group.
Moreover, the forum will include speeches and panel discussions featuring some of the most prominent business women in the region, on topics such as work life integration, challenges of being a working mom, growing and scaling your business, the role of a community in the growth of a business and many others.
There will also be a special panel appearance by ‘Dad-preneurs’ – Male entrepreneurs who are very hands-on when it comes to their kids and household chores, to look at the topic of work-life integration from an alternative angle as well.
The forum’s main aim is to support mom-entrepeneurs, and as such an exhibition area has been dedicated to showcasing some of the mom-operated businesses in Dubai.
This first-of-its-kind forum will also include a pitch competition with over AED 15,000 in prizes as well as a group mentoring session. The event promises to be a great place to meet likeminded individuals and consequently form long lasting partnerships.
