Voting has officially opened for the seventh annual BBC Good Food Middle East Awards, hosted by BBC Good Food Middle East magazine, published by CPI Media Group. There are 32 awards up for grabs this year, with brand new categories including ‘Best Afternoon Tea’, ‘Best Bar Food’, ‘Best Beach Club’, ‘Best Business Lunch’, ‘Best Family Brunch’, ‘Best Food Delivery App’, ‘Best Food Hotspot’, ‘Best Food Truck’ and ‘Best Staycation Experience’.
“Our awards are all about celebrating the best in food across the region from a consumer’s point of view and along with new categories that can be voted for online I’m excited to announce that we have added an ‘Up and Coming Chef of the Year’ award which is a cook-off judged by a panel of experts run alongside our famous ‘Chef of The Year’ competition” says Sophie McCarrick, Editor, BBC Good Food Middle East.
Consumers are encouraged to vote for their favourite nominees in each category online and will also have a chance to win an amazing three-night stay at The Sun Siyam Iru Fushi Resort, Maldives, worth over 10,000dhs!
Voting closes on 13th October 2016 and the winners will be announced at the awards ceremony on 7th November 2016.
