Dubai Media has achieved qualitative successes after being crowned with four important awards honoring creativity and innovation in the field of entertainment marketing, during its participation in the Global Entertainment Marketing Academy Awards (GEMA) ceremony, which was held in Los Angeles, USA, in the presence of a group of the most prominent and important media makers, institutions and media and entertainment companies in the world.
Dubai Media has thus added a new achievement to its rich record, highlighting the importance of its role in advancing the media industry and developing content, and its logistical and technical capabilities and capacities, and its extensive experience in presenting programs that are distinguished by their high quality, which reflects its position as one of the most prominent media institutions leading in understanding the culture of viewers in the Arab world.
His Excellency Mohammed Sulaiman Al Mulla, CEO of Dubai Media Incorporated, stressed that the corporation’s receipt of these awards is a culmination of its efforts to advance the local media industry, and represents a new beginning towards achieving its future aspirations.

During the ceremony hosted by the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, USA; Dubai Media succeeded in winning the “Best Design” award for the logo of “Dubai Racing” channel, which specializes in horse, camel and falcon racing, among others. It also managed to win the “Best Use of Technology” award for its use of virtual and augmented reality technology while covering the activities of the “COP 28” conference hosted by Dubai last December. Meanwhile, the promotional campaign for “Emirates News Bulletin” won the “Graphics” award, while the broadcast of the “Oscars” global awards ceremony on “Dubai Media” screens won the (SALON DES REFUSE´) award. This year, Dubai Media managed to outperform its competitors, after receiving 14 nominations in various categories of the global award, which reflects the importance and diversity of the programs and ideas that the institution produces, which enabled it, over the past years, to participate and win in the international competition, which is considered one of the most important global awards that honor creativity and innovation in the fields of entertainment marketing, including advertising, digital media, marketing strategies, public communications, and others.
The GEMA Awards are organized annually by the Academy of Entertainment Marketing Arts & Sciences, building on a legacy of over 60 years of Promax Awards history, celebrating the best talent from around the world and honoring the exceptional craftsmanship that shapes compelling narratives, contributing to the development of entertainment marketing and setting new standards for the industry. The GEMA Awards, which are considered the “Oscars” of marketing and creativity, provide an opportunity for creative brilliance through their various categories, highlighting the strength and appeal of participating artistic projects.
It is worth noting that Dubai Media, after winning 4 “Gima” awards, succeeded during the current year in raising its global awards tally to 6 awards, as it previously shone in Singapore through the Asia-Pacific Awards, and the “Gov Media” Conference Awards. At the local and regional levels, it was crowned with 14 awards, including the Arab Media Awards, the Emirati Investments Magazine Awards, and the Gulf Radio and Television Festival.
