On the 19th November, over 350 delegates representing OMD’s clients, media partners, and staff, will come together for the tenth edition of OMD’s industry-leading event at Zabeel House Al Seef Hotel.
Celebrating its 10th anniversary, OMD Predicts has presented delegates with emerging trends impacting their operations and equipped brands with the knowledge to aid in future-proofing their businesses. Industry-renowned speakers have shared international best practices to support clients, employees and business partners in enhancing the quality of their planning and prepare them for what is around the corner.
In a nod to the changing ways in which we, as an industry, are working and acknowledging the new business operating model, this year’s event sees a focus on putting humanity back at the heart of future-proofing business strategies.
OMD EMEA’s CEO, Guy Marks, will take to the stage for the first time at OMD Predicts to discuss the importance of trust in the opening keynote ‘Accelerating through Collaboration’. Guy will share OMD’s recipe for success, through collaboration at scale and humanizing the workplace. Ensuring that we are building trust to unlock the business outputs and results we, and our clients, are striving for.
Guy will be followed on stage by Snap Inc.’s Jacob Andreou who currently leads Design, Growth, and Product Management teams. His talk, ‘Empathy: Human-Centered Design at Scale’ will focus on how to start with human behaviors, not technology, to build engaging platforms. Former Amazon executive turned digital strategy consultant, John Rossman will continue the engaging talks by leveraging ideas from his book, ‘Think Like Amazon’ about the importance of building a culture of innovation. Closing the event will be a fireside chat with actress, writer, and award-winning director, Nadine Labaki, who will touch on the effects of the social impact on storytelling.
This event is powered by MMP World Wide, Saudi Media Company, Snap Inc, LinkedIn, Promofix, AdinTop, SAMS, Sport 360, Total Media Ventures and Anghami, who will be filling the night with sounds bridging east with the west with artists from the region.
