Ali Guven is the new Managing Partner of Value Partners MENA, reinforcing the company’s team in the Region. He will be responsible for the Turkish, African, Iranian and ME markets and will supervise the region from the Dubai and Istanbul offices.
Boasting an impressive career as CEO in different international companies, and leveraging on his experience in companies such as technology leader IBM, Ali Guven has developed extensive knowledge of business internationalization within the high innovation-rate field. During his career, he has worked with publicly quoted companies and multinational corporates, gaining solid experience in corporate restructuring, business development and has developed strong commercial skills. He has very strong commitments, beliefs and experience in the Gulf Region.
Before joining Value Partners, Ali Guven was the CEO of D-Smart, second largest Turkish Satellite TV and Internet Service provider. Between 2006 and 2012, he was the CEO and a Member of the Board at Logo Business Solutions, the Turkish Software Market Leader at for ERP and various business applications. Mr. Guven started their International operations in Dubai in 2007. Prior to that, between 1988 and 2005, Ali Guven served at different levels and industries at IBM Turk in Istanbul and at EMEA level in Paris HQ.
He earned a Degree in Computer Engineering at the Middle East Technical University in Ankara, Turkey.
Value Partners established its Dubai office ten years ago. Since then, the company has cooperated with many local and international firms in the telecommunications, media and industrial goods fields, as well as with financial institutions.
