Pushdot makes Forbes list of Top 50 startups to watch in UAE

Dubai-based Pushdot, an application owned by Nomadic Capital Limited, was ranked number 37 on Forbes Middle East’s top 50 startups in the UAE. The event hosted by Forbes this week recognized UAE’s most promising startups that have achieved remarkable success by developing their ideas into lucrative businesses.

These companies were ranked based on the amount of funding raised, backers, the size of the team and the potential market reach of each business. “This listing further confirms the hunger for innovation in this region, where the infrastructure and economic stability are conducive for the success of SMEs and start-ups” says Nomadic co-founder Ziad Ghosn.

The app which is still being developed, has been gaining much recognition in the global digital sector where it has been awarded several industry accolades at the Collision Conference New Orleans, Best Mobile App Awards, Cristal Awards Interact and most recently the Best App Award in the Appy Award Social Sharing category.

“We live in an era where digital solutions are taking center stage, particularly in the Middle East where mobile penetration is on a continuous rise,” explains Ghosn, “Pushdot’s C2C and B2C platform will be ideal for data collection and sharing, where users – be they working professionals, individuals or businesses – want practical tools that are cost-effective, efficient and environmentally friendly.”

Set for launch on iOS and Android by end of 2016, this is one app that aims to simplify networking by enabling users to consolidate all contact information, such as social sites, web addresses, phone numbers and email addresses, in one single location.
