MullenLowe MENA sets a new Guinness World Record with Unilever

MullenLowe MENA and Unilever’s OMO and Comfort, have created a new world record of 295,122 items of clothing collected, with their ‘Share A Touch Of Love’ campaign. This year’s accomplishment eclipsed their previous records and earned them their third Guinness World Record in three consecutive years.

The collection drive that started at the beginning of Ramadan and continued till July 6th, 2016, aimed to help the less fortunate by providing them with the clothes they need. The success of the operation was propelled by a fully integrated campaign, meticulously designed by MullenLowe to inspire people across the UAE and Qatar to donate clothes, in the spirit of sharing.

The admirable accomplishment that embodies the key virtues of Ramadan, is also a testament to the generosity of the region’s residents. Representatives from MullenLowe and Unilever, responsible for the feat were present at the occasion. Accepting the honour for the agency were Joseph Makhoul, Youssef Sarrouh, Chris Kay and Amit Chougle, with a strong resolve to continue the good work.
