The organization of the Lisbon International Advertising Festival is pleased to announce that the Brazilian creative Washington Olivetto will travel to Lisbon in order to be the President of the Executive Jury of the festival. It is also a great joy to announce that Washington Olivetto will also receive our 1st Career Award.
It is an honour for LIAF to welcome one of the world’s best creatives in the history of advertising.
Washington Olivetto is the Chairman of the Brazilian agency W/McCann and the Chief Creative Officer of McCann Worldgroup for Latin America and the Caribbean. Olivetto is not only a worldwide advertising icon, but also one of the most popular figures in Brazil.
Having won over 50 Lions in Cannes, only in the Film category, in 2014 he was honoured with the Clio Lifetime Achievement Award, and last year he was inducted into the “Hall of Fame” of “The One Club”, in New York – he was the first non-Anglo-Saxon to achieve it.
The Lisbon International Advertising Festival will take place in Lisbon on September 14, at Cinema São Jorge. This will be the first edition of the new creative festival of global reach.
The Lisbon International Advertising Festival has opened entries, and agencies around the globe are welcome to enter their work.
In the coming weeks, we will announce the remaining members of the Executive Jury, as well as the professionals who will be part of the Grand Jury.
