Grayling Dubai appoints Nicola Gregson as new Managing Director

Leading global communications consultancy, Grayling (@GraylingPR), has announced the appointment of Nicola Gregson as the new Managing Director of its rapidly growing Dubai office.

The appointment of a new highly-experienced Managing Director, which follows a number of high profile account wins for Grayling Dubai, reflects the strong growth the company has experienced across the Middle East, Turkey & Africa (META) region over the past two years.

With more than 20 years of global PR experience, eight in the Middle East, Nicola brings to Grayling extensive industry knowledge, especially in relation to corporate communications, consumer, business-to-business and issues and crisis communications.

Nicola moved to the UAE from the UK in 2007 and has provided high-level strategic counsel to many of the region’s leading brands. She is also an active senior member of the region’s Public Relations industry and is a board member of the Middle East Public Relations Association (MEPRA).

Loretta Ahmed, CEO of Grayling Middle East, Turkey and Africa said: “Nicola’s experience in driving business growth, building strong client relationships and implementing award-winning communications campaigns will add huge value to Grayling, as we continue to drive our dynamic offer across META.”

Commenting on her appointment, Nicola said: “As with most industry observers, I’ve been a huge admirer of Grayling’s growth across the Middle East region over the past two years. I’m very much looking forward to working with the team to build on the great work that they have been doing and to continue to deliver world-class, client focused campaigns.”

The announcement of Nicola’s appointment comes as Grayling continues to rapidly expand its operations across META. The company has secured a string of major client wins including Kenya’s Ministry of East African Affairs, Commerce and Tourism, and has recently established offices in Nairobi and Muscat, which has increased Grayling’s global network to 55 offices.
