Real Madrid Café had a smashing debut as it formally opened its doors to Dubai’s foodies, with some of football’s most celebrated players adding star power to the opening night.
The café, which has become an increasingly popular dining destination for lovers of great food and sports entertainment, treated guests to an evening of exquisite Spanish delights and hosted a spectacular social event that put together football’s superstars along with Dubai’s A-list crowd.
Guests and onlookers lined up enthusiastically to get into the café, hoping to at least get a glimpse of the Real Madrid team, who came in full force in support of the opening of the only café that bears the name of popular football club. The show stopping event had the entire crowd at The Beach, opposite JBR where the cafe is located, gathering outside the establishment for a chance to witness the glitzy opening unfold.
“It was a spectacular evening for Real Madrid Café and judging from the feedback from that we received, a most memorable event of 2014 for us and our guests,” said Louis Alberts, General Manager, Real Madrid Café.
Some of the night’s lucky guests included winners of Real Madrid Café’s “ Meet the Team” promotional campaigns related to the event, giving them the once in a lifetime chance of meeting their favourite football stars, up close and personal. Star-struck and visibly thrilled, some of the winners could not contain their excitement when they met Real Madrid’s players, taking pictures to immortalise their personal encounter with some of football’s most popular heroes.
Paul Mark, who won the right to attend the official Launch Party via Real Madrid Café’s media competition, was ecstatic about his experience and said, “This is a truly unforgettable moment, and I thank Real Madrid Café for this unique and memorable experience. I am eternally grateful,” he added.
Since its soft launch a few months back, Real Madrid Café has created a buzz in the dining scene in Dubai, delighting guests with its mouth-watering dishes featuring traditional Spanish favourites and a unique ambiance showcasing the storied history of the Real Madrid Football Club.
