L’Oréal and UM MENAT utilise DV Authentic Brand Suitability to drive campaign performance

DV Authentic Brand Suitability helped reduce ad block rates by 82% in L’Oréal Middle East campaign through their media partner, UM MENAT

DoubleVerify (“DV”) (NYSE: DV), a leading software platform for digital media measurement, data and analytics, today announced that its DV Authentic Brand Suitability (ABS) solution has been deployed by L’Oréal Middle East. Working with the region’s leading media agency, UM MENAT, L’Oréal has used ABS to optimise its campaign performance and successfully manage placements in brand-suitable environments.

ABS is DV’s most advanced pre-bid solution, enabling advertisers to create a centralised set of brand safety, suitability and fraud controls. Aligning pre-bid filtering and post-bid measurement functionalities allows advertisers to significantly lower block rates, drive performance and, ensure the ad placement is suitable for the brand.

L’Oréal deployed the campaign across the open internet in Saudi Arabia and the UAE. From the day it was activated, ABS decreased the block rate of ads for L’Oréal by 82% over the duration of the campaign. Media waste costs also decreased by 77%. The viewability rate – which measures how many viewable ads are in brand-suitable, fraud-free environments – increased by 11%, taking it above the IAB’s 70% threshold for viewability.
