Former Zee Entertainment Enterprises Middle East executive Adil Memon has joined Sport Spirit Fed (SSF) as CEO and Managing Partner, as the company looks to expand its sports IP business beyond the region.
Memon will oversee operations at SSF and lead the company’s efforts in sports IP creation, execution, production and technology integration. He will report directly to founder and Managing Director Mohammad Saif.
Founded in 2021, SSF is an Indian company with operational offices in Dubai Motor City and Sheikh Zayed Road. The company focuses on sports intellectual property creation and management across cricket, football, tennis, pickleball and kabaddi.

Commenting on the appointment, Mohammad Saif said: “Appointing Adil as CEO and Managing Partner is an important move for SSF. We have spent years building a brand in the UAE, and while we are proud of our roots, our vision has always been bigger. Adil brings the strategic depth needed to scale our existing IPs and lead the launch of new verticals that will diversify our portfolio.
“For our stakeholders, this move is about sustainable growth and a clear roadmap for expansion.”
Over the last few years, SSF has launched several regional initiatives including Camp with the Champ and the Dubai Open for Cricket Academies (DOCA), the Titans Cup in football, the Dubai Open for Pickleball, the International Kabaddi League and the Dubai Open for Tennis Academies (DOTA).
The company has also built associations with international sporting personalities including Chris Gayle, Yuvraj Singh, Mohammad Azharuddin, Harbhajan Singh, Sam Billings, Ben Cutting, Imran Tahir and Sania Mirza.
SSF also works alongside organisations including the Dubai Sports Council, UAE Tennis Federation and International League T20.
Prior to joining SSF, Memon served as Executive Vice President at Zee Entertainment Enterprises Middle East, where he spent more than 19 years.
Memon added: “I am grateful for the trust Saif has shown in me by inviting me to lead SSF as CEO and Managing Partner. It is an opportunity to build on a strong foundation that has already been created in the UAE.
“My focus will be on strengthening our current sports and media IPs while also launching new ventures that can take the company into new markets.”
