For all quiz enthusiasts, here is some good news – The region’s leading TV channel, STAR Plus, from the famed STAR TV network is proud to announce the commencement of the 6th season of UAE’s Most Prestigious Inter School Quiz Contest on TV – “ Max STAR Quiz Challenge 2016 powered by Skyline University College” (MSQC).
The Max Star Quiz Challenge 2016 powered by Skyline University College is an annual inter school quiz contest telecast on the region’s leading South Asian channel, STAR Plus, starting 12th Feb, every Friday at 1:30pm (UAE). MSQC in its 6th Season showcases the best quizzing talent from UAE schools. The show reaches out to schools across all educational curriculum including American, British, Indian, Arabic, etc. to name a few. Young minds are quizzed on topics ranging across sports, music, current affairs, science, technology and general knowledge.
Held every year since 2011, the Star Quiz Challenge is an annual quizzing event showcasing the best quizzing talent from across UAE schools. It tests the best, keenest & brightest from schools across the UAE. Having established itself as the UAE’s definitive & most prestigious Inter School Quiz contest, it returns this year with a greater promise and intent. The competition gets even tougher, with over 70 participating schools and over 1,000 students taking part in the elimination stage. Post the eliminations, only 18 teams make the final cut for the shootout on TV, on STAR Plus.
Keeping in mind the cosmopolitan and multi-cultural environment of UAE, MSQC has an international flavor and is conducted in English. The show promises to raise the bar even higher in its 6th season and ensure far greater prestige in the competition and a lot more glory for the winners. Over 1,000 students from across the UAE went head-to-head, with the winning school getting to lift the prestigious STAR Quiz Challenge Rolling Trophy.
