A new report from the Arab Advisors Group profiles 18 production houses in seven Arab countries. The report analyzed 79 series produced in 2014 and the first six months of 2015.
Arab Advisors Group analysis of 18 production houses in seven countries reveals that the analysed production houses produced a total of 40 Arabic television series in 2014 and 39 series in the first six months of 2015.
“Arab Advisors Group analysis revealed that the majority of productions for 2014 and the first six months of 2015 are of the drama genre, constituting 50% and 51% of total productions respectively.” Ms. Dalia Haddad, Arab Advisors Senior Research Analyst, noted.
“Of the analyzed production houses, Egypt and the UAE-based production houses were the most productive. Syria-based houses followed.” Ms. Haddad added.
