A Diverse Slate of Emirati, Khaleeji and Syrian Series Available Across Leading TV Channels and Platforms in the Region
Dubai Studios is set to make a game-changing impact this Ramadan with a diverse and ambitious lineup of eight (8) premium productions, further solidifying its status as a trailblazer in the region’s content industry. From compelling local Emirati stories to prestigious Khaleeji dramas and co-productions from Syria and Lebanon, Dubai Studios remains committed to delivering captivating, top-notch storytelling that resonates with audiences across the region.
With seven (7) of these productions deeply rooted in Emirati and Khaleeji narratives, Dubai Studios continues to play a pivotal role in shaping the regional content landscape while actively expanding its reach through strategic partnerships with top-tier producers across entire MENA. Staying true to its collaborative ethos, the studio has joined forces with renowned creatives and leading production houses across MENA to bring these projects to life, including two standout productions from Syria and Lebanon, of which one is scheduled for Ramadan, and another planned for release post Ramadan.

He added that Dubai Studios continues to build momentum with an expanding slate that now includes feature films, beginning with City of Life Continuum, recently announced, alongside other exciting projects in the pipeline.
Each series brings a unique narrative, offering audiences a distinctive experience:
1. Layali Roxy (Syrian Drama): A highly anticipated co-production, Layali Roxy stars renowned Ayman Zidan and Sulaf Fawakherji in a gripping tale set in 1920s Syria, a time of cultural and social upheaval. The series also marks the long-awaited reunion of Mona Wassef and Duraid Lahham, reuniting on screen after 43 years since Wadi Al Musk (1982). Directed by Mohammed Abdulaziz, Layali Roxy offers a fresh take on the Damascene era, blending power struggles, forbidden love, and compelling drama.
2. Afkar Ommy (Khaleeji Drama) – starring the legendary Hayat Al Fahd alongside Ibrahim Al Hasawy, the series follows Shahah, a strong-willed matriarch whose unyielding control over her family fuels daily conflicts and deep-rooted tensions and delves into the complexities of family dynamics.
3. Al Cirque (Khaleeji Comedy): A standout surprise of the season, The Circus brings together two Khaleeji acting powerhouses, Dawood Hussein and Hassan Al Balam, reuniting after two decades since their last drama series. The series features a star-studded ensemble, including Abdulaziz Al Nassar, Mohammed Al Ramadan, Fahad Al Banai, Nouf Al Sultan, Khaled Al Sajari, Suad Ali, and more. The series follows a group of convicts sentenced to community service, only to find themselves working as clowns in a circus. Under the watchful eye of Shabeeb, they discover an unusual rule: the more they make the audience laugh, the sooner they gain their freedom.
4. Baab Al Seen (Khaleeji Social Comedy): A heartwarming and witty family drama, Bab Al-Seen delves into family bonds, traditions, and modern challenges. Directed by Emirati filmmaker Nahla Al Fahad and written by Maryam Nasser and Maryam Al Qallaf, it stars Abdulaziz Al Nassar, Shaimaa Suleiman, Basheer Ghoneim, Ahmed Al Najjar, and more. The series follows a man’s struggle to reunite his estranged siblings while balancing life as a single father, delivering relatable moments, heartfelt connections, and comedic twists in a fresh take on family and belonging.
5. Al Masaar (Khaleeji Drama): A gripping mystery drama, Al Massar unravels a web of secrets within a family shaken by the death of its patriarch. As tensions rise, hidden agendas and power struggles come to the surface, creating an atmosphere of suspense and intrigue. Directed by Bassem Shaabo and written by Mohammed Al-Enezi and Badr Al-Jazzaf, the series stars Mohammed Al-Mansour, Hussein Al-Mansour, Suzan Najm Al-Din, Khaled Al-Buraiki, Hamad Al-Omani, Bibi Abd Al-Mohsen, Farah Al-Sarraf, Shatha Sabt, and more.

8. Wadeema & Halima S4 (Emirati Sitcom): Back for its highly anticipated fourth season, Wadeema & Halima delivers its most dynamic chapter yet. Following its remarkable success and high viewership in the previous season, the series returns with new conflicts, unexpected twists, and fresh characters that add depth and excitement to the story.
