Independent integrated communications agency, iHC, has appointed Alexandra Williams as Managing Director of its Dubai office.
Having joined iHC as Associate Director in August 2016, after time at Grayling and Edelman DABO, Alexandra has been part of an impressive growth period, particularly within the construction, engineering and technical sectors.
With almost a decade of experience in integrated communications, including senior PR, events and digital positions, Williams will be focused on growing the business, agency operations and overall client delivery.
She said: “I’m proud to take on this role, which I see as the very beginning of where we are taking this agency. Having been at iHC a relatively short period of time, the synergy was instant from joining and we have moved forward at an incredible rate. I’m under no illusions the importance this office will play over coming years, as the Dubai team should remain the creative engine behind our ambitious global expansion plans.”
Williams added: “I will continue to capitalise upon iHC’s business-to-business success, maintaining growth and continuing the agency’s commitment to over-delivery.”
The promotion means previous Managing Director, Ian Hainey, moves to a CEO position, remaining strategically-engaged, while focusing on continued global expansion, after client wins in the UK and Brazil.
Hainey said: “Word of our services has spread quickly between business decision makers, because we deliver hard-PR for clients targeting specific industries, supported by quality social media, digital advertising and powerful content. As a direct result of our work, clients have been winning multi-million dollar contracts across the Middle East and receiving consistent positive feedback from their target audience on their communications, which has powered both their growth and ours.
“This has put iHC in an exciting position, where we are winning top clients across other geographic areas, with recent client wins in the UK and now Brazil, where we are launching our services in May 2018.”
