Angelica Beard (Visa) and Sorin Patilinet (Mars) will be co-chairing WFA’s Insight Forum.
Angelica Beard, Senior Director, Global Insights & Analytics at Visa, is to co-chair the WFA’s Insight Forum with Sorin Patilinet, Senior Director, Global Consumer Insights at Mars. Together they will work to develop and promote new learnings around insights’ role to support the marketing growth agenda as part of a client-side peer community that boasts more than 600 consumer insight professionals.

Their focus will be on delivering new understanding around hot topics such as marketing effectiveness, insights transformation, storytelling, trends and foresight, innovation in insights & analytics and so on.

Insight Forum members exchange knowledge via regular peer to peer meetings, through webinars, research and benchmarking exercises. So far this year, topics discussed have included why the insights team is pivotal in understanding cultural context and diverse audiences, storytelling, social intelligence, new operating models for the insight function and marketing effectiveness models, metrics and culture.

Angelica has worked for Visa since 2018, delivering brand, advertising and custom marketing insights across five regions and more than 50 markets.

“As the world witnesses massively important shifts in technology, boundaries, spaces and centers of power, brands will need to find new ways to play a meaningful role in the lives of consumers. As Insights professionals, it is imperative that we anticipate and deliver what’s next with fresh eyes and new ways of working to lead our organizations toward profitable, sustainable outcomes. I’m excited to play a role as co-chair of the WFA Insights community to drive conversation and discovery that will help to fuel insights-led brand building across the globe”, says Angelica Beard.

“Excited to welcome Angelica as the new co-chair of the WFA Insight Forum. Her expertise will bring a fresh perspective to our discussions as we work together to shape the future of this emerging forum for insights specialists”, says Sorin Patilinet.
