Saffron opens local presence in Vienna to serve recent client win Engel&Völkers and hires Erwin Hager as Senior Programme and New Business Manager.
Saffron Brand Consultants, international brand consultancy with locations in Madrid, London, Istanbul and Mumbai is proud to announce the launch of a new office in Vienna.
In addition to global real estate group Engel und Völkers, Saffron’s current clients in DACH include XING owners NEW WORK SE, 10+ years client A1 Telekom Austria Group, the widely publicised ORF Player as well as the City of Vienna and Regional Medien Austria.

Saffron is proud to welcome Erwin Hager to the Vienna office as a Senior Programme and New Business Manager. Prior to joining Saffron he led an Austria and UK based energy generation start-up and has two decades of marketing and sales experience in the engineering industry. He pushed forward European market presence for companies such as Mitsubishi Hitachi and A-TEC Industries.
Over the past 12 months, Saffron has worked with NEW WORK SE, parent company of XING, to establish the brand strategy, naming, visual identity and messaging framework for a forthcoming B2B brand.
Saffron continues to work with A1 Telekom Austria Group, one of our longest standing clients. We created the brand strategy and visual identity for A1’s Austrian operation in 2011 and have been working with the group since then to roll out the brand across seven markets in southern and eastern Europe.
The City of Vienna engaged Saffron to unify its brand across 72 municipal departments. This creates cost savings and marketing efficiencies that save taxpayers money and allow for a clearer, more effective communication across all city services.
