New awards expand focus on specific regions and honor top performers across CLIO judging
The CLIO Awards, esteemed international advertising, design and communications competition, today announced the addition of Holding Company of the Year and Agency of the Year X Country to its roster for the 2015 awards, set for September 30 at The American Museum of Natural History in New York City. The additional awards continue the establishment of a worldwide focus for the brand.
Holding Company of the Year and Agency of the Year X Country will be presented to those scoring the most statue points across all medium types. The new awards join the existing Network of the Year, Agency of the Year, Production Company of the Year and Advertiser of the Year.
Agency of the Year X Country will be awarded in each of CLIO’s top 15 entrant countries, with presentations to come in each country in the months following the 2015 CLIO Awards. As the global tour progresses, CLIO will dedicate content on CLIOS.com and across social channels to the agency and culture of the area.
Winners for 2014 included Dentsu Tokyo, Agency of the Year; Dentsu Creative X Inc., Production Company of the Year; Ogilvy & Mather, Network of the Year; and Guinness, Advertiser of the Year.
“Our newest international awards mark a pivotal era for CLIO, as we continue to celebrate creativity in its many forms and identify the best work around the world,” said Nicole Purcell, president, CLIO.
