Filippo Spiezia to join Baroque Worldwide as partner and COO

The award-winning art director and visual designer Filippo Spiezia is to join Baroque Worldwide as partner and chief operating officer. 

A native of Italy, Spiezia will oversee the company’s business operations and work alongside co-founder and chief executive Ali Mansoor as the creative production company expands its client base and strengthens its core offerings. 

Launched in March last year, Baroque specialises in a wide range of disciplines, including broadcast and digital production, branded content and interactive film.Spiezia’s arrival will add digital and web applications, responsive environments, virtual reality and immersive experiences, gaming and mobile. 

During the course of his career Spiezia has pushed the boundaries of graphic, digital, interactive and multimedia design and is the founder and creative director of Digital Design Days in Milan. He has worked for agencies such asPublicisModem in London and Second StoryInteractive Studios (part of SapientNitro) in Portland, Oregon.   

As part of his role Spiezia will relocate to Dubai and will work closely with Baroque’s other partners, including Lorenzo Bassano, the head of Baroque Film, and chief visionary officer Bjarne O.  

“I have been looking for the right digital partner since we launched Baroque almost 12 months ago and I have finally found him in Filippo,” said Mansoor. “Forward-thinking, innovative and – most importantly – digitally-driven, he brings with him a wealth of experience that will add a new level of dynamism to Baroque as we continue to deliver the most innovative, culturally sensitive, relevant and engaging stories for brands and their consumers.”
