As a result of its ongoing efforts to adopt global best practice for sustainability, Omnicom Media Group MENA has recently received the Global Reporting Index (GRI) accreditation. It is the first marketing communications group to achieve the prestigious certification in the region and the first globally to adhere specifically to the G4 Sustainability Reporting Guidelines.
The GRI is a non-profit organization that promotes economic sustainability, producing one of the world’s most prevalent standards for sustainability reporting. This certification is the validation of Omnicom Media Group MENA’s efforts to create a sustainable business that delivers lasting value for its shareholders, customers, suppliers, employees and community. The network has consistently been named among the top 10 employers in the UAE by the Great Place to Work Institute, ranked third in both 2014 and 2015, and has embedded corporate social responsibility into its operating strategy since 2011.
“As one of our key strategic pillars, sustainability has always been at the core of who we are, guiding every action we take,” said Elie Khouri, CEO of Omnicom Media Group MENA. “This accreditation is also the latest expression of our pioneering spirit. With it, we demonstrate our unwavering commitment and full dedication to not only elevating the sustainability discussion in the region but also to best practice and ethics. As such, we endeavour to continue leading from the front, pushing ourselves as well as others to reach the highest levels of integrity and sustainable practices.”
