Acer has announced the winning of five Red Dot Design Awards 2015 for Product Design. The winning entries include four products that represent the company’s diverse notebook offering, including the 2-in-1 Aspire Switch 12, the professional TravelMate P645, the convertible Aspire R 13 and the Aspire V Nitro Series notebook designed for entertainment. In addition, the compact and cleanly styled Revo One RL85 desktop was also named a winner.
This year, Acer competed against nearly 5,000 entries from designers and architects in 56 nations, and was recognized for the awards in the category of Computers & Information Technology. The criteria evaluated include the degree of innovation, functionality, ergonomics, durability, and self-explanatory quality.
