The fifth annual Effie Effectiveness Index has placed OMD on top of media networks in both MENA and across the world. The global and regional rankings are based on the finalist and winner data from all the Effie Award competitions of 2014 and serve to measure agency effectiveness in driving real business results for their clients. This year marks the fifth consecutive year that the global media network has achieved this ranking.
Based on last year’s scoring, OMD ranks first globally in the Most Effective Agency Network list with a total of 508 points, while the MENA office has tied for the top spot of individual networks in the region with a total of 94 points. OMD MENA won seven awards at the 2014 Effie MENA Awards, the most by any media network in the competition. The top ranking in the Effie Index is the latest in a series of global recognitions since the start of the year. OMD was earlier named Adweek’s Global Media Agency of the Year as well as the Gunn Report’s Global Agency Network of the Year.
