The results at this year’s MENA Digital Awards, where OMD MENA received eight trophies, demonstrated the media agency’s digital edge. No only was it the most awarded on the night, it was also named ‘Agency of the Year’. The overall performance of its holding company led the Omnicom Group to being named ‘Network of the Year’ at the recent ceremony held at the Westin Dubai Mina Seyahi.
The awards ceremony, which concluded the two-day Digital Media Forum, saw OMD’s work for Beiersdorf’s Nivea Men ‘Survive the Night’ campaign win Gold in the Best Integrated Digital Campaign category. Henkel’s ‘Persil Abaya Revolution’ received three Silvers for Best Use of Video, Best Integrated Digital Campaign and Digital Activation. OMD MENA was the most shortlisted media agency at this year’s awards ceremony, continuing its success streak from last year’s inaugural event where they were also the most awarded media agency.
