BR Communications and DMN partner to deliver market-leading communications strategy

Partnership seeks to capitalise on MENA’s Internet advertising, which will be worth USD2.5bn in 2018

Dubai-based BR Communications FZE (BRComms), a public relations, marketing and design consultancy, and DMN, a UAE-based social media and digital marketing service provider, have forged a partnership that teams each company’s strengths to provide market-leading communications strategy across the GCC region.

“Over the years, we have seen how public relations and social media have evolved to often serve intertwined roles in any organisation’s marketing or brand awareness campaigns. We believe that by combining the expertise and resources of BRComms and DMN, we will be able to formulate a more holistic communications approach to our respective and combined client base,” says Bahaa Fatairy, Managing Director of BRComms.

Tariq Abu Samra, Head of Business Development at DMN, says the partnership came about following requests from various clients to provide a more comprehensive strategy. “Clearly most organisations today recognise the potential of social media to connect with their target market. But many are also keen to engage the skills and know-how of PR practitioners and marketers in stepping up their communications efforts,” Tariq adds.

Through the partnership, BRComms and DMN will also endeavour to obtain a slice of the Middle East and North Africa’s (MENA) online advertising sector, which PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) forecasts to grow from around USD707 million in 2013 to USD2.46 billion in 2018 as brands shift their campaign focus to the mobile platform.

BRComms and DMN both comprise a young and dynamic team of highly skilled professionals with extensive experience in the GCC market. In December 2014, BRComms was cited as the ‘Best New Business in 2014’ during the SME Stars of Business Awards held in Dubai, UAE.
