Today Volkswagen and Behbehani Motors Companybroke ground in Kuwait for the development of the world’s largest Volkswagen Modular Concept showroom for passenger cars. Expected to open by early 2017, the facility representing an investment of USD $20 million,willintroduce a newservice paradigm for car buyers in Kuwait.
Developed in partnership with Behbehani Motors Company, the official distributor for Volkswagen in Kuwait, theworld-class showroom will span over 25,000m2, across six levels, above and below ground.
To mark this major development for Volkswagen and the brand’s regional presence,Behbehani Motors Company owner, Mr. Ali Murad Behbehani and Mr. Hussein Murad Behbehani and senior executives were joined by Thomas Milz, Managing Director, Volkswagen Middle Eastfor an official ground breaking ceremony.
Speaking at the ceremony, Milz said, “The Middle East is a thriving market for Volkswagen and sustained demand in our model line-upcontinues to justify major investments in extending our commitment to deliver Service Excellence across the region. With the support of our trusted partner Behbehani Motors Company, to open the world’s largest Volkswagen showroom in Kuwait, we remain on track to become a world leader in customer satisfaction and innovation by 2018.”
Managed by Volkswagen experts, sales teams and service advisors, once open for business, the state-of-the-art facility will become a benchmark for the automotive industry’s best practice. Designed in line with theVolkswagen Modular Concept, the minimalist showroom will feature crisp whitewalls, natural wood with clean lines to create an open and inviting atmosphere for prospective car buyers.
