The Transform MENA awards now accepting entries

The Transform MENA awards, for exceptional new and evolving brand and rebrand campaigns, will return to Dubai this June.

The awards are now accepting entries from companies, agencies and organisations in the Middle East and North Africa region.

Transform is unique in its mission to recognise brand development work that is well thought-out, effective, innovative and creative. This is the second time the event is taking place in the MENA region, an area with a booming economy and a growing interest in strategic branding.

Last year’s winners included Milaha and Bellwether brand consultancy, who took home four golden butterfly awards including ‘Best overall visual identity,’ for a rebrand that successfully visualised Milaha’s global reach and ambitions. Telecommunications company, du, took home the Grand Prix prize for a brand development project that was described by a Transform judge as ‘outstanding’.

The global Transform awards began in Europe six years ago. The awards have now expanded to both the MENA and Asia-Pacific regions and provide the inspiration for a global brand development magazine, Transform magazine. The growth of the awards reflect global corporations’ growing investment in strong brand strategies.

Liz Foggitt, the publishing and event manager at Transform magazine says, “2014 was an incredible year for Transform – with the launch of the magazine and the awards programmes in both the Middle East North Africa and the Asia-Pacific regions. We’ve had an extremely positive reaction to our publication and events so we’re excited to launch the 2015 MENA programme. This year, we’re expecting to see the events grow and commend the most outstanding, innovative and inspiring branding work done in the past 18 months.”

The awards ceremonies themselves provide an opportunity for organisations to tell their stories and discuss reputational change, while rewarding their teams for good work and celebrating general progress. A summit event designed to encourage productive thought and discussion will also take place on the day; details to follow.
