Damas, the Middle East’s leading jewellery and watch retailer, has bolstered its presence in the region with the opening on 23 new outlets during 2014. The expansion complements Damas’ new two store format strategy – the Damas retail outlets that showcase some of the most prestigious international brands, and the ‘Damas Collections’ retail outlets which offer a variety of innovative in-house styles.
The 23 new store openings took place throughout the GCC with 15 in the UAE, five in Saudi Arabia, one in Kuwait and two stores in Oman. The elegant interiors of the stores epitomize luxury and are complemented by an enhanced level of customer service that offers the ultimate bespoke shopping experience in GCC.
The Damas Collections stores include novel designs from well-known and beloved Damas brands such as Hayati, Spring, Orana and Farfasha; while the Damas stores were designed to assemble exclusive collections from the world’s leading jewellery designers including Forevermark, Roberto Coin, Pasquale Bruni, Magerit, Utopia and Baraka.
As part of the 2014 expansion, Damas also renovated three of its outlets located mainly in the UAE and Oman.
Damas has gained a trendsetting reputation in the region by continuously exploring ways to invent novel designs and enhancing its customer service experience and presence in the region. The strategy has helped grow Damas from a UAE based retailer into a global brand, retailing renowned luxury brands including Graff Diamonds, Marco Bicego, Margerit, Parmigiani Fleurier, Baraka and Mikimoto.
