UM awarded Qatar Financial Centre (QFC) Authority’s international and regional media business
As part of a new global media partnership agreement between QFC Authority and UM, UM will now represent QFC Authority in all of its media buying and planning activities across the EMEA, APAC and North American markets.
Set up in 2005, QFC Authority is the commercial and strategic arm of the Qatar Financial Centre, which has been an integral part of Qatar’s financial economy providing foreign and local firms with a robust platform to launch their business in the Middle East.
With Qatar now seen as a top financial and business center in the region, QFC Authority was seeking an agency partner that combined an international and local network with a strategic media understanding. UM was an obvious choice to help them get to these goals.
Alaa Saad, Regional Managing Director UM GCC said, “This is a massive win for UM and we’re thrilled to be working with QFC Authority. We have built a portfolio of prestigious clients through our deep understanding of the
local markets and by maintaining high standards in our work. QFC Authority is a respected financial authority locally and globally and we look forward to expanding our success with them.”
To facilitate this partnership, UM’s London and Doha offices will collaborate over the upcoming year to put their media and marketing vision into action.
