‘Share a Coke’ campaign rolls out in Lebanon

Coca-Cola’s groundbreaking campaign inspires Lebanese

The Coca-Cola Company recently launched its award winning ‘Share a Coke’ campaign in Lebanon; the first country across Levant and Gulf countries to witness the groundbreaking campaign.

The roll out of the ‘Share a Coke’ campaign in Lebanon demonstrates the Coca-Cola Company’s firm belief in a country considered for long as a trend-setter in the region, and reveals its commitment to strengthen ties with modern and stylish Lebanese consumers.

Fostering economic progress and supporting local communities are also foundations that are deeply integrated into the Company’s business model and enabled through local partnerships. Earlier this year, Aujan Coca-Cola Beverages Company (ACCBC), a leading regional drinks manufacture, which was established following a US$ 1 billion joint venture between The Coca-Cola Company and Aujan Industries, had acquired the majority stake in the National Beverage Company (NBC), the manufacturer and distributor of Coca-Cola products in Lebanon.

Antoine Tayyar Public Affairs and Communications Director, Coca-Cola Middle East, said: “We are very excited about the campaign and are totally committed to ensuring that Coca-Cola’s happiness culture is successfully disseminated within the Lebanese community. Coca-Cola is all about spreading happiness, as it is our way of contributing to a more viable community by fostering innovation across our business and creating shared value for everyone we touch, as it’s the case in 207 countries where we do business.  It’s something we’re passionate about and committed to for the long-haul in Lebanon”

“Share a Coke” packaging is rolled out nationwide and will remain on the shelves throughout the year celebrating with the Lebanese consumer the power of names with more than 45 most popular monikers in Lebanon. The campaign is also alive in popular streets, universities and malls allowing fans to customize their coke cans and sheering someone in their lives. Fans are invited to visit Coca-Cola Christmas tree in Beirut Souks and enjoy the festive season spirit with someone they love.
