Marshall Goldsmith and Sally Helgesen launch corporate guide for women in Dubai

At a women’s invite-only launch event in Dubai, Marshall Goldsmith, #1 best-selling author and leadership coach, provided industry-specific insights and helped some of the top female corporate leaders in the city identify and overcome roadblocks to success with his book, How Women Rise

Co-writing with women’s leadership expert, Sally Helgesen, Marshall Goldsmith has iterated the 12 habits that hold women back from further rising in the corporate hierarchy

The event, powered by Ultimate 48 Hour Author Middle East and hosted by Yardstick Marketing Management and Right Selection at The W Dubai – Al Habtoor City

How Women Rise, a corporate guide for women written by women’s leadership expert Sally Helgesen and #1 global leadership coach Marshall Goldsmith, launches in Dubai with an elite business workshop hosted by Yardstick Marketing Management, a 360-degree marketing firm in the UAE and Right Selection, a local-based international speaker’s bureau.

Anishkaa Gehani, Founder & CEO, Yardstick Marketing Management, said, “Being a female expat with her own business in the UAE myself, I read and found Marshall Goldsmith’s How Women Rise a very definitive guide to the kind of situations women often get themselves ‘stuck’ in, as a result of either not actively promoting themselves, letting others take credit, and other more women-centric workplace habits. For this reason, I am happy to have been an active part of this launch alongside Right Selection and having worked with Marshall to positively impact the vision and career choices of these women.”

Gautam Ganglani, Managing Director, Right Selection Speakers Bureau +, said, “We are pleased to have partnered with Yardstick Marketing to bring back Marshall Goldsmith to Dubai for his latest release, How Women Rise. It’s an honor to work with one of the top leadership coaches to and spread the word on how women can help themselves and their careers takeoff, and how successful women can rise higher by letting go of the bad habits often incubated and inculcated by one’s own workplace. We are happy with the response and look forward to such alliances in the future.”
