Mindshare MENA Takes Home Prominent Industry Award for “Content Decoded”

Mindshare, which is part of WPP, is a global media agency network helping clients to make collaborative and adaptive decisions across their paid, owned, and earned marketing in real-time. The team is pleased to announce that Mindshare MENA was awarded “Best Conference” by The Middle East Event Awards for this year’s annual Mindshare Media Summit titled “Content Decoded.”

The award-winning media summit took place on January 19th, providing thrilling content-related panels led by famous speakers and industry leaders such as founder of Women for Women International Zainab Salbi, EMEA of Maker Studios Robbie Douek, and many more. The event took place at The Annex – Burj Khalifa, one of Dubai’s most modern and groundbreaking venues. The 2016 Middle East EVENT Awards, held at The Madinat Jumeirah in Dubai, recognize the best of the region’s events with 22 categories covering a wide range, including “Best Music Event,” “Best Use of Event Technology,” “Best Festival,” and “Best Brand Activation.”

“Content Decoded” also premiered a thought-provoking new networking and exchange space called “Huddle.” Two Huddles taking place during the event gave experts the opportunity to exchange content and generate discussion within the theme of “Content Decoded” while sharing related products and solutions that could match with attendees with a wide variety of content needs.

“Our annual media conference was another smash success this year, and we are proud that the Middle East Event Awards recognized the many original ideas that were integrated into ‘Content Decoded’ in order to surprise and engage attendees,” says Mouna Ajam, Regional PR Director Mindshare MENA. “Our team looks forward to hosting many more conferences that address the most important industry issues we face today, using the agency’s signature out-of-the-box way of thinking.”

“We are honored to have been selected for ‘Best Conference’ at the Middle East Event Awards,” said Philip Westphal, the Managing Director at SALT & PEPPER Events, the event management agency that helped the Mindshare team realize their vision of “Content Decoded.” “We always strive to leave an impact, so working with Mindshare’s innovative team was a great collaboration. And we are extremely happy to be recognized with this award.”

The Middle East Event Awards honor inventive event concepts and execution from the Middle East and North Africa region in 22 categories. The award show utilizes a lengthy and rigorous evaluation process conducted by industry experts. SALT & PEPPER Events was previously shortlisted for four awards, being selected for the Middle East Event Awards 2015 in three distinct categories for two major automotive clients, MINI and Lincoln.
