Applications now open for designers, brands, and creative institutions to join the Middle East and North Africa’s defining design week.
Cairo Design Week (CDW), the region’s fastest-growing design week, returns from 20 – 29 November 2025 with its largest and most ambitious edition to date. Since its inception in 2022, CDW has brought together hundreds of designers, brands, and institutions, establishing Cairo as a rising hub for creativity, culture, and innovation.
This year’s program will unfold across three design districts, soon to be revealed, uniting world-class talent, pioneering brands, and bold ideas in a citywide showcase unlike any other. Building on the success of the 2024 edition – which welcomed over 100 designers, 150 exhibitors, and 80 speakers – CDW 2025 aims to connect Egypt’s brightest creative voices with international leaders, strengthening Cairo’s place among global design capitals such as Milan, London, and Dubai.
Over ten days, Cairo will transform into an open-air design playground, where streets, heritage landmarks, and public spaces come alive with large-scale installations, immersive exhibitions, pop-up pavilions, interactive trails, and live activations. Beyond the citywide experiences, CDW 2025 will present thought-provoking talks, hands-on workshops, and cultural programs that honor Egypt’s rich design heritage while championing future-forward innovation.
Importantly, CDW 2025 is committed to being more inclusive than ever before. The week is not only for designers and industry insiders, it is open to everyone, from professionals and enthusiasts to curious members of the public, all are invited to engage with, experience, and celebrate the role of design in everyday life. Ticket sales will officially launch on September 25th, inviting the wider community to secure their place in this landmark celebration.
The week will culminate with the 7th edition of the Cairo Design Awards, honoring the year’s most groundbreaking contributions to design in Egypt and beyond.
“Cairo Design Week has grown into more than just a platform – it’s a movement that brings together people, ideas, and cultures,” said Hisham Mahdy, Founder of Cairo Design Week. “For 2025, our vision is to build on last year’s incredible momentum and create a world-class space where Egyptian talent stands shoulder to shoulder with global innovators. At the same time, we want design to feel open, accessible, and inspiring for everyone.”
This year’s expanded program will also introduce the CDW Universities Initiative, offering unmatched exposure, industry recognition, and access to an influential international network for the next generation of creatives.
