Many artistic surprises accompanied the seventh episode of the “X Factor Dubai” program, which is broadcast on Dubai TV, affiliated with Dubai Media Incorporated, as it witnessed strong competition between a group of participants who succeeded, thanks to their determination and beautiful voices, in capturing the audience’s votes, to be able to continue their journey in the program, which is considered one of the most important and largest singing programs in the Arab region, and brings together an elite group of singing talents who aspire to obtain the title, to reflect the efforts made by Dubai Media Incorporated aimed at advancing the local and Arab music sector, contributing to the development of Arab musical competencies, and achieving Dubai’s visions aimed at becoming a global capital of the creative economy by 2026.
The X Factor Dubai episode, which was broadcast live from Dubai Festival City Mall in partnership with the Dubai Shopping Festival organised by the Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment, was full of beautiful voices, as it began with a group performance of the song “Raheeb” by artist Abdul Majeed Abdullah. This opening was an indication of the importance of the competing voices in the programme, which constitutes a qualitative addition to the events schedule of the 30th edition of the Dubai Shopping Festival, which is rich with amazing experiences covering all parts of the emirate over 38 days, thus enhancing Dubai’s position as a preferred destination for living, entertainment and work.
The episode witnessed the appearance of 8 Arab singing talents, who were able to gain the praise of the members of the judging committee, which included the Lebanese artist Ragheb Alama, the Iraqi artist Rahma Riad, and the Emirati artist Fayez Al Saeed, after giving a distinguished performance on stage, which increased the intensity of competition between them. While Abdul Rahman Al Halabi presented the song “Zaidini Ishqan”, Majeed Khaled succeeded in convincing the judging committee with the quality of his voice, so the Banat Al Hashem band appeared on stage with a distinguished show, while Ibrahim from Iraq gave a complete performance that deserved the description of “the great artist”, while Rowan from Egypt won the admiration of the members of the judging committee, so that the Jordanian Hashem Al Raqad was able to steal everyone’s attention thanks to his distinguished performance, so Habeeba Saeed deserved the audience’s applause, while the judging committee predicted an important future and position for the participant Nasser Al Mishari.
Despite the difficulty of choosing between the eight competing talents, the result of the audience vote contributed to putting the Banat Al-Hashem band and Habeeba Saeed in the danger zone after they received the lowest percentage of votes, so the members of the judging committee chose in favor of Habeeba Saeed, which gave her a pass to the next episode, which forced the Banat Al-Hashem band to leave the program, in the hope that they would be able to continue their artistic journey, after their success in reaching the semi-final stage.
The surprise of the episode was the appearance of the Egyptian artist Hanin El Shater, the title holder of the first season of “X Factor Dubai”, where she performed on stage the song “Esmaoni” by the Algerian artist Warda, to once again receive the applause of the audience and the praise of the artist Ragheb Alama, who expressed his pride in “Hanin’s” performance, on which he bet a lot during the first season, saying: “Hanin deserves the title of the great singer”, while “Hanin” expressed her happiness to be present for the second time in the program, and said: “The first season of “X Factor Dubai” was my first stage of launch, and I consider my presence in it for the second time as a new start for me.”
Since the start of the second season, “X Factor Dubai” has succeeded in attracting the attention of the audience and achieving high viewership on Dubai TV, which has made it a creative incubator for singing talents, contributing to guiding them and providing them with the various opportunities they need, so that the program reflects the comprehensiveness of the product and media content provided by Dubai Media Incorporated, and its ability to meet the aspirations of the audience.
