Alamiya to provide services and facilities for IMG’s Saudi Pro League Production

Global sports, events and representation company, IMG, has selected Saudi-based production facilities company, Alamiya Media, to provide additional facilities and resource services for its Saudi Pro League (SPL) and Saudi Arabian Football Federation (SAFF) coverage.

The partnership follows IMG’s recent appointment by SPL and SAFF to deliver best-in-class production across all Roshn Saudi League (RSL), Saudi Super Cup, and King’s Cup matches, and further enhance the viewing experience for fans both domestically and internationally.

Building on IMG’s existing successful relationship, Alamiya has been selected due to its proven international production and broadcasting standards which will support the delivery of coverage until 2030. The deal underlines IMG’s commitment to providing global broadcast opportunities and support for local production talent as part of its operations in the region.

James Clement, SVP, Technology and Operations, Studios, IMG, said: “As broadcaster demand and excitement around the Saudi Pro League grows, the opportunities for production innovation grow too. We’re looking forward to continuing our relationship with Alamiya, who is a proven supplier in the region, and leveraging the company’s local expertise to ensure we’re bringing the league’s stories to life through an even higher production quality.”

Sultan Al Muheisen, Chairman & CEO, Alamiya Media, said: “Saudi Pro League is one of the fastest-growing leagues and it’s only a matter of time before Saudi Arabia becomes a household name in the global football community. We are confident that the combination of Alamiya’s knowledge and facilities with IMG’s host broadcasting expertise and capabilities, will unlock the full audiovisual potential of the Saudi Pro League.”

IMG produces content for some of the world’s biggest leagues, including Premier League, Major League Soccer for Apple TV, CBS’ UEFA Champions League and Europa League coverage, UFC, DP World Tour, The Ryder Cup, and The Open Championship. The company’s state-of-the-art studio facilities at Stockley Park in London are among Europe’s best-connected broadcast centres, powered by 100% renewable energy and broadcasting over 35,000 hours of content annually.

IMG is also responsible for distributing the RSL’s media rights internationally for the 2024-25 season, which is being aired in more than 165 countries on 43 global platforms.
